Cannabis Edibles was the topic we chewed on…they are beautiful & delicious!
The Apothecarium Cannabis Dispensary offers some really cool and informative in-store cannabis events; the first one was on Thursday, September 14th, which was about food infused with cannabis.
Margaux and Jon presented the 2 hour class on cannabis edibles as representatives of the VERT Edibles company located in Las Vegas. A group of only about a dozen people attended, with the majority age being around 50. I enjoyed the small class size, but it shows that a lot of people are missing out on this sort of greatly beneficial information.
A Cannabis Edibles question and answer session followed the class, as well as a drawing for the much heralded cannabis cookbook called “HERB”. They offered up the beliefs, the science, the formulations, and their amazing products infused with cannabis. The pot brownies I made in 1974 are not what they are today; the world of marijuana treats has changed dramatically…and for the better.
Margaux holds a medical degree, which reinforces her belief and interest in the science of cannabis use and its health benefits. Edibles are becoming the go-to holistic remedy to alleviate a plethora of health related issues, particularly now that recreational cannabis is legal in our state. To date, Cannabis use has been scientifically proven to help ease everything from depression to severe pain. The extraordinary properties of VERT Edibles’ cannabis oil now makes it possible to measure precisely in order to give the exact dosage your health issue will benefit the most from.
Jon possesses an endless supply of tips and tricks he recommends to create the kind of relief your particular health issue involves. He learned from nearly a decade of helping his grandmother, friends, and other family members deal with their health problems utilizing the remarkable benefits of cannabis edibles. Helping a close friend transition from an opioid addiction to cannabis edibles spurred Jon’s desire to help others in need. Jon can even tell you what dosage works best for which malady.
The VERT Edibles company is changing the way cannabis edibles are developed, tested, certified and marketed. They are at the forefront of edibles kitchen tested formulations and education with their CO2-extracted, pre-activated cannabis oil.
Nevada has instituted the most stringent testing and certification regulations of cannabis and related products (more stringent than any other state) to ensure safety and quality. VERT Edibles’ products fall right in line with those same high quality standards. Their products are lab tested during every process, adhering to strict guidelines, and packaged to ensure stability and a lengthy shelf life. Clearly, not all cannabis edibles are created equally. Buying edibles from any other state simply won’t compare with those purchased in Nevada.
Foods, beverages, candies, appetizers, and deserts can all be infused with VERT’s pre-activated cannabis oil, which is their secret to raising the bar for cannabis cuisine. Their pre-activated cannabis oil is more convenient and substantially more cost effective when used in making your own edibles. Their scientific processes utilized while creating the pre-activated cannabis oil allows for precise measuring and dosing to ensure your edibles come out tasty fresh and flavorful.
We learned the importance of starting slow with cannabis edibles. Since the potency of VERT Edibles is tested top quality, even a veteran cannabis consumer like myself should begin slowly. Every individual reacts to cannabis infused products differently, so you need to try it out in small amounts first . When eating or swallowing edibles, the effects may be delayed by two to three hours depending upon your metabolism. So if you don’t feel anything at first, ingesting more isn’t the answer. It’s not about overindulgence – it’s about smart enjoyment.
VERT cannabis infused products are created with natural top-grade ingredients that also serve a purpose. I’ve found the best Edibles in Las Vegas!
I was highly impressed with the value and quality of information during this presentation on cannabis edibles and was fortunate enough to win the drawing to receive the cannabis cookbook! HERB is so amazing, I can’t wait to try out some of the recipes.
The book HERB is co-authored by executive chef Melissa Parks, who is the kitchen master behind all of VERT Edibles products. Melissa holds degrees from both Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and Johnson and Wales University. As an expert on the science behind the metabolization of cannabis, herbs, and food, she is recognized as an authority on preventative healing through cuisine.
